Could you be the heart of our organisation?
Life is not made up of minutes, hours, days, weeks, months or years, but of moments. We believe an ethos of kindness and genuine caring ensures these moments are made happier and our difficult journeys easier. As a Nurse, you’ll know all too well how much this means to our Residents and their family, these simple acts of kindness cost nothing but make the biggest difference.
Communication skills are very much the ‘core’ requirement of our Nurses, as they need to have open dialogue with Residents and their families so they fully understand their condition, medication and any other clinical concerns.
Ultimately, our Nurses do everything in their power to ensure our Residents lead rich and fulfilling lives.
Flexibility is a necessity, no two days are the same and that’s probably one of the things you love about the role. Last minute changes constantly keep our Nurses on their toes while they juggle workloads, paperwork, professional colleagues, Residents and their families.
A career in Nursing isn’t for everyone. And in this area, it can certainly be demanding. But looking after older people, improving the quality of their care and wellbeing, being passionate about what you do and your job, whilst mentoring others in our Homes, means being rewarded in many, many different ways.
