You’ll know this isn’t a 9-5 role. Our Residents in your care need 24 hour support, so you’ll need to be resilient and hard working with a flexible approach. We won’t sugar-coat things. This is a tough, responsible role but one that will give you so much purpose and reward.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Home Managers are the masters in ensuring we maintain the highest possible levels in quality and kindest care to our Residents, they achieve this through effective leadership and home management skills. This role is pinnacle in the success of HC-One and our Care Homes, think of them as a ‘Captain of a ship’ keeping everything shipshape and on-course!  With the help of their team, Home Managers ensure Residents’ care and welfare is prioritized, championing well-being, safety and quality of life at all times. They strive to achieve standards beyond regulatory compliance and endorse and implement HC-One’s culture and values to the rest of their team.  Reporting to the Operations Director, this is a high level and responsible role as all of our Home Managers are fully responsible for the financial running of each home as well as the people within it. This is however a very rewarding & fulfilling role.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

A valid NMC Pin

A background in care environments

A full understanding of person centered care planning processes

IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office

Experience of leading, managing and mentoring a team

Strong financial planning procedures

Good communication and organisation skills
